Dear Partners and Friends of FamilyLife,

Change is a normal part of life. Global Outreach has experienced a lot of change recently. For that reason, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to all of the members of our team and explain how each is serving you and our other partners around the world.

My wife Lynn and I joined the Global Outreach in 2010 and are delighted to lead a talented group of men and women who truly want to see godly marriages and homes across the world. I serve as FamilyLife’s Vice President for Global Outreach.

Allow me to introduce to the rest of our Global Outreach team:

Seth and Angela Braker joined our team in 2010. Seth works closely with Gabe Buchholtz and is responsible for ethnic ministries (particular Spanish-speaking) within the U.S.A.

Gabe Buchholtz serves with his wife, Nancy, as our representative for FamilyLife in Latin America.

Jim and Judy Burrows are currently living in Beijing in order to establish FamilyLife in China.

Shane Butler is the newest member of our department and will soon take over the role of issuing license agreements for translated resources.

Drew and Kit Coons retired from FamilyLife in 2010, but they remain volunteers for our department. They are our representatives for Eastern Europe.

Chuck Eckerson serves with his wife, Kathy, as our representative for Francophone Africa.

Rigoberto Garza serves part time by leading an outreach to Hispanic families, mostly through Art of Marriage® and HomeBuilders®.

Bret and Elizabeth Hern are relocating to Eastern Europe for one year to help launch FamilyLife’s Art of Marriage®.

Michelle Hill is our Global broadcast manager.

Bill Hunt has served with his wife, Jenni, as our representative for Southern and Eastern Africa for the past few years. He and his family are in the process of moving to Kenya so that they can minister to marriages in that area one-on-one. They will remain associate staff with FamilyLife.

Patrick Low is joining our department along with his wife, Estella, as the representative for Asia while serving a one-year STINT assignment.

Carmen Maguire serves part-time. She maintains FamilyLife’s Spanish website and assists with Spanish translations.

Leonel and Miriam Motta have been serving the FamilyLife staff and volunteers of Latin America under Cru for many years. Leonel is in the process of officially transferring from Cru to FamilyLife.

Howard and Aileen Ostendorff retired from FamilyLife a year ago. They remain affiliate staff and continue to bless our department with the fruit of their many years of service.

Rhonda Ploeger is my assistant. She keeps the department running smoothly and communicates with partners in Western Europe.

Jayna Richardson serves the department part-time by communicating with our partners in Eastern Europe and the South Pacific. She also produces the quarterly newsletter and assists with international orders.

Betty Rogers, our licensing and translations expert, retired from FamilyLife earlier this year. We are grateful for her years of service and legal expertise.

Dave Sunde serves with his wife, Sande, as our international representative emeritus for the North Africa, Middle East and surrounding areas.

Jerry and Sheryl Wunder live and serve in China.

I am grateful for this team and for the work God has called us to do—to reach marriages and families around the world with the help and hope of Jesus Christ.
